It's been quite some time since I've updated this site. Sorry, folks. My job has somewhat reduced my time spent tinkering on projects in my basement, but I have worked on some stuff - I just never got around to putting it up on the Web. It is just such a hassle to format all the images, build the pages, etc... However, I can no longer rely on that particular excuse, because my friend Joe a.k.a. idlehero (uh, looks like his site isn't actually up and running at the moment) helped me set up a new version of my site running the Drupal content management system. And by "helped," I of course mean, "did virtually all of the work." It's ok though; I'm going to pay him in beer, the truest international trade commodity upon which all economies are based.
Noted improvements to the site include automatic summary lists, a search bar, separation of blog entries / projects / teardowns, user accounts and comments, and, of course, a vast simplification of the update process... that is, as soon as I figure out how to use this fucking trainwreck of complexity that is Drupal's control panel. Perhaps the greatest advantage is that updates can take place entirely over HTTP, so I can edit my site from any computer and don't have to have my computer and it's various software suites handy just to throw up a simple blog entry.
Pretty soon here I will start processing my backlog and throw up a bunch of things I worked on since the last update.

Ooh, a working comment system!
